Alesha Dixon has opened up about what happened at Ant McPartlin’s wedding where she danced barefoot and sang karaoke.
The 42 year old Britain’s Got Talent judge admitted to giving a drunken karaoke performance at the event that caused her to lose her voice.
Appearing on Angela Scanlon’s Thanks A Million podcast, Alesha joked that she “sounds like Barry White” following the event.
She said: “I’m not thankful for my Barry White voice, oh my goodness. I went to Ant’s wedding and I literally lost my voice. I haven’t got it back since.
“I kind of got pushed on to the microphone at one point and started doing Mis-Teeq’s All I Want. I think I started with the thought, ‘I can’t talk and I feel drunk but let’s go’.
“And I woke up the next day and literally couldn’t speak and I literally sound like Barry White.”
Alesha was one of 150 guests at the star studded wedding along with celebrity friends like with celebrity friends like Holly Willoughby, and Phillip Schofield on the guest list.
While Amanda Holden couldn’t make it to the event as she was away on holiday, she uploaded a photo of herself with Ant, Dec and Alesha with the caption: “So sorry we will miss @antanddec special day… we are still away, sending our love and huge congratulations to Ant & Amzie on this amazing day.”
Ant had pulled out all the stops for his guests, having spent near £100,000 to house them all in a nearby luxury hotel.
Alesha arrived at the wedding with husband Azuka Ononye, with whom she shares two children, seven year old Azura and two year old Anaya, with. The pair looked stunning, with Alesha opting for an asymmetric pink dress and Azuka, a navy suit with a matching pink tie.
Ant and Ann-Marie tied the knot at St Michael's Church in Hampshire in front of 150 wedding guests before heading to a lavish hotel for the wedding reception.
Ant told guests during his speech: “When Anne-Marie walked into the church, I had to fight to hold it together as she looked so beautiful," it was reported.
Meanwhile, Alesha recently spoke out about previous relationships, admitting that she had allowed "toxic behaviour" to take over.
She said: "I do have things where I think, no, I should have made a better choice. I wish I'd made a better choice, particularly with, like, men, you know. I'm not one of these people that's like, 'oh, it was right at the time'.
"No, I was an idiot. And also, I guess the only thing I could be thankful for is that I'm in a place now in a relationship with somebody who I love.
"And I don't think I could be in the healthy relationship I'm in now had I not been through a couple of s****y ones in the past that really shaped me."
