Alex Rodriguez is maximizing his earning potential with the release of his first beauty product.
Yesterday, afternoon, the New York Yankee announced on Instagram that he has collaborated with self-care health company Hims & Hers to drop The Blur Stick, which he touts as “sleek, discreet” concealer “specifically designed for men” that serves a practical, on-the-go solution for inconvenient blemishes.
“Working with the Hims & Hers team, I wanted to create a product that solved an issue I faced every day. I realized as I was jumping from meeting to meeting, I needed something quick and easy in my routine to conceal blemishes or razor bumps,” Rodriguez wrote in the caption. “That’s why I am excited to share a new @Hims product – The Blur Stick. It’s a convenient concealer specifically designed for men that can be used for skin imperfections.”

Hims & Hers additionally promoted the product to their Instagram, writing, “🚨 NEW PRODUCT ALERT 🚨 YEP! @ARod and Hims teamed up to develop a future Hall of Face product perfectly designed to cover up that awkward acne, those rotten wrinkles, and even those dark eye circles!”

This product release comes shortly after A-Rod’s ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez released her own beauty line, JLo Beauty, early in 2021. The former couple had actually jointly invested in Hims & Hers last year while the they were still together.
At the time of her brand launch, Lopez revealed that Rodriguez was a fan of her skincare products. “[Alex] tries everything,” she told ELLE. “We did the mask together on the first night, and I filmed myself and it was just life-changing. I was like, My God, I feel like I have a baby face!” she told the magazine. “He loves it, and now we’re always fighting for the mask since they’re not in full production.”
A-Rod’s Blur Stick is available online for $17 and includes soothing ingredients like aloe extract and jojoba seed oil.
