Brooklyn Beckham could marry Nicola Peltz at St Paul's Cathedral because his parents David and Victoria Beckham are both OBEs.

Brooklyn, 21, and Nicola, 25, who got engaged in July, could follow in the footsteps of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, who wed at the venue in 1981.

Although marrying at the iconic and historic London venue has a high price tag and it could set the Beckhams' back £5,000, as the ceremony alone costs £3,240.

And the waiting list would mean the loved-up pair wouldn't be able to tie-the-knot until 2022.

A source has told The Sun that David and Victoria, who are said to be overseeing their British wedding, want to make sure it has "the wow factor".

Telling the publication, they said: "David and Victoria are aware Brooklyn can get married at St Paul's. They are overseeing their British wedding and want to make sure it has the wow factor for Nicola's family.

  • Victoria Beckham called out for photoshopping sweet snap of son Brooklyn by his fiancée Nicola Peltz

"If they went ahead, the wedding would have real gravitas and set the benchmark for what comes later in America. Brooklyn and Nicola are weighing up their options."

This comes after Nicola hinted the pair may have married in secret on social media.

The blonde beauty took to Instagram on Friday night to share a photo of her holding Brooklyn's hand.

In between the loved-up pair's hands is a label, but the blonde beauty's 1.9million followers were paying more attention to Brooklyn's digits.

David and Victoria Beckham's son appeared to model a plain gold band on his ring finger in the snap, leading many to believe they may have got hitched early.

The jewellery piece is in the traditional design of a man's wedding ring, with a small diamond added to the band.

A number of the photographer's tattoos are also on display in the snap, including the year 1974 — his mum Victoria's year of birth — and the number seven, a tribute to his footballer father.

Brooklyn's representative declined to comment on speculation of a marriage when contacted by OK! online.

It has previously been reported that Nicola's engagement ring was designed by Brooklyn, and he spent £350,000 having it made.

Prior to this, Brooklyn shared gorgeous images from the moment he proposed with his 12.2million Instagram followers.

He wrote alongside the sweet snaps "Can't imagine a life without you baby… you make me feel so special and make me laugh all the time x I will always take care of you and will always have your back."
