Charley Webb shows off son Bowie’s new haircut after cruel trolls say her sons ‘look like girls’

Emmerdale actress Charley Webb has shown off her three year old son Bowie’s haircut shortly after she hit back at trolls who targeted her sons for their long hair.

The 31 year old, who plays Debbie Dingle on the ITV soap, shared a cute snap of her son pulling on the tassels on his knitted hat which is slightly tilted to show part of his new, shorter do.

Mum of three Charley said in the caption: “Hair cut=cute face visible. Bowie 3 years and 10 months.” [sic]

Charley, who has Buster, nine, Bowie, three, and three month old Ace, with husband Matthew Wolfenden, later shared a photo of Buster on her Instagram story, giving her 348,000 followers a better glimpse of her son’s new hair.

The photo shows Buster wearing a purple jumper with striped leggings and red socks pulled up to his knees as he holds a matching purple umbrella.

She then explained Buster had “dressed himself” in writing below the image.

Bowie’s new hairstyle comes shortly after Charley hit back at trolls who criticised her son’s former long hair.

The actress posted a photo of her older son Bowie to reply to cruel trolls, who told her that her little boys “look like girls”.

Charley’s post showed a picture of Bowie opening his tiger print cardigan to show off his t-shirt which sported the words: “Long hair don’t care #Boy”.

She then explained in the caption: “I get asked so many times on here why my kids have got long hair. ‘Why don’t you cut it?’ Or, ‘they look like girls’. The answer is really simple, because we like it and more importantly they like it.

“I absolutely don’t feel like I need to explain it to anyone who has an opinion but I just think life would be so much easier if we all just focused on our own lives. Don’t let my kids hair worry you.”

Charley continued: “I think people think they have a right to have an opinion because of social media. Maybe you do. But try keeping it to yourself, it’s not important to us what you think of how our kids look. Or how we look. Or their names or whatever it is you might want to comment on.

“I was always taught, if you’ve got nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Try practicing it peeps. There’s enough awful stuff in the world without being mean to each other. They’ve got another t shirt that says, I’m a boy, I’ve just got better hair than you. True dat.” [sic]

After hitting back at the haters, Charley then treated Bowie to a pamper session during a trip to the hairdressers earlier this month.

Posting a cute photo of her and Bowie getting their hair washed at a salon next to one another, Charley documented the cute moment and wrote in the caption: “Like Mother. Like Son.” [sic]

The bonding time comes after the mum of three admitted to finding it difficult to adjust to having three children in an exclusive chat with OK! magazine.

During the stunning photoshoot where she introduced baby Ace to the world, she said: “I’ve found the jump from two to three children huge.

“I feel a lot of guilt when Bowie wants to do things and I can’t as Ace is breastfeeding.

“You do feel you lose that one-on-one time with your other children. I struggle with that a bit but I try not to beat myself up as you do just have to get on with it.”
