Lisa Armstrong, 44, has taken a swipe at her ex-husband Ant McPartlin and his team in a shocking Instagram post. It comes after Ant and Dec made history at the National Television Awards when they won the coveted Best Presenter trophy for the twentieth year in a row.

The famous Geordie duo scooped the award for the Best Presenter at the ceremony on Thursday night – beating the likes of Holly Willoughby and Piers Morgan.

PR guru Simon Jones, who represents the likes of Little Mix and Louis Armstrong, paid tribute to Ant and Dec on social media as he gushed over their talent, but Lisa left a harsh remark underneath his post.

In view of his 17,700 followers, he penned: “20 years! So so proud of my amazing friends @antanddec for winning Best TV Presenter at the #NTAs @officialntas for the 20th year in a row!

“And proud to say I have been with them at the awards every year of those 20 wins. We’ve been on a brilliant journey so far and long may it continue.”

“And you don’t care who you screw over in the process… well done,” Ant’s ex-wife Lisa penned.

Simon then replied to her comment: “@lisaarmstrongmakeup Lisa, please don’t come on to my Instagram with your negativity and false accusations.

“It really is about time you moved on and got on with your life, and stopped unfairly blaming other people for your mistakes.”

Express.co.uk has contacted Simon Jones and Lisa Armstrong’s representatives for comment.

Lisa, who has found love again with boyfriend James Green, was married to Ant, for 12 years and they were a couple for over two decades.

They confirmed their split in 2018 and Ant has since remarried.

The former couple’s £31m divorce was finalised in April 2020 after a long legal battle – including custody of their beloved dog Hurley.

The presenter tied the knot with PA, Anne-Marie Corbett in August at St Michael Church in Heckfield last month.
