Ultraviolent flicks “Once Upon a Time In … Hollywood” and “The Irishman” were frontrunners at Wednesday night’s National Board of Review Awards.
But Page Six is told that the real violence went down outside the ceremony.
Sources say that with Martin Scorsese, Bruce Springsteen and Daniel Craig inside Cipriani 42nd Street and Brad Pitt on his way there, a nasty fistfight broke out on the street.
We’re told a weapon was involved and that one of the combatants was arrested. Meanwhile, an ambulance arrived on the scene — while the red carpet for the event was still underway. It’s unclear if the ambulance was for someone injured in the battle.
An NYPD source confirmed there had been a fight, but couldn’t confirm that there was a weapon.
