Jake Owen announced via Instagram that the Jake Owen Foundation’s upcoming ninth benefit concert, to be held in his hometown of Vero Beach, Florida, will feature Jimmy Buffett as a special guest.
The “Down to the Honky Tonk” singer said that the two-day event, on November 1 and 2 will feature an acoustic concert from himself and Buffet in addition to the annual golf tournament and a silent auction.
Matt Sell, Craig Wiseman, Dean Dillon, Mac McAnally, Scotty Emerick and Larry Fleet are also set to perform during the acoustic show.
“The Jake Owen Foundation is one of the most fulfilling things I have ever been involved with. What matters is, the kind of person you are. Your character, your legacy,” Owen said. “Giving back has always been important to me in everything I do.”
The foundation, which was launched in 2010, has reportedly raised over $1.6 million, benefiting several organizations, including The Scott Center for Autism Treatment, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the Boys and Girls Club of Indian River County.
