Jamie Redknapp and wife Frida joined by family including Frank Lampard at wedding reception

Former footballer Jamie Redknapp and his new wife Frida Andersson got married on Monday and celebrated afterwards by having their wedding reception at Scott's restaurant.

The pair were joined by family including celebrity guests such as Jamie's cousin Frank Lampard, and his wife Christine.

Jamie and his pregnant wife started the day by tying the knot at Chelsea Registry Office before continuing their celebrations at their reception.

The couple arrived at the restaurant as Jamie wore his smart double-breasted wedding suit and Frida donned her off-the-shoulder white midi wedding dress paired with white court shoes.

They got married just five months after announcing that they were expecting their first child together.

Jamie was joined by his family on the special day including parents Harry and Sandra Redknapp and his older brother Mark.

Jamie's children, Charles, 17 and Beau, 12, from his previous marriage to Louise Redknapp, were in attendance too.

The wedding party headed to Scott's which features £1,000 caviar on the menu as well as £500 bottles of wine and champagne options setting guests back up to £6,000.

The Mayfair restaurant first opened it's doors back in 1872 and is well known for fresh fish, seafood and caviar and a champagne bar.

Frida and Jamie didn't announce their engagement so the wedding came as a shock to some fans, but they revealed their pregnancy back in May.

The Mirror reported that a source said at the time: "Jamie and Frida are absolutely delighted.

"They’ve been virtually inseparable in lockdown, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.

"The couple started telling their nearest and dearest last week. Jamie’s been telling pals he’s really excited to be a dad again, less excited about the sleepless nights, and nappy-changing."

Jamie was previously married to popstar Louise Redknapp between 1998 to 2018, but the pair hit the rocks in 2016.

However, Jamie's dad Harry has previously spoken about how he was disappointed about their split.

Appearing on Heart Breakfast in 2019 ,he said: "I mean I love Lou and I was sad when it all went wrong. I really was.

"I mean me and Sandra absolutely loved her and her mum is still great – she knows Sandra talks to her mum all the time, Lynne – she’s lovely."

Frida was previously married and has four children from the relationship, who she keeps out of the spotlight.

She was married to 58-year-old American hedge fund manager, Jonathan Lourie who is reportedly said to be worth £80 million.
