Katie Price has opened up about how she's been feeling recently after she was allegedly attacked at a house in Essex.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour following the incident.

The whole thing resulted in Katie having to receive hospital treatment for a facial injury, but she looked gorgeous and seemed in high spirits for our new! magazine shoot which took place just days after the attack.

When asked how she was feeling after everything that had happened, Katie insisted that she's firmly focussed on what's to come. She said: "I’m a strong woman and I’m looking forward to the future."

Sadly, Katie was forced to cancel her appearance at Hoopla festival in London after her horse was taken seriously ill.

A source explained: "Katie was keen to get back out there and see her fans but her horse has been taken away for medical treatment.

"Katie feels she has to be by his side as she fears he's dying. She's absolutely devastated."

The mum-of-five alleged that she was “punched” by a man at a house in Essex in the early hours of Monday, August 23. In an interview with The Sun, Katie revealed that she also damaged her feet.

The star explained: "I ran to Harvey's house and have now done damage to my feet, which I previously injured.”

Although the man was arrested after the alleged attack, Essex Police have confirmed that he's been released on bail until 20 September.

In the wake of the alleged attack, friends of Katie – such as former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona – have sent her love and continue to support her behind the scenes.

A source later revealed to MailOnline that "all [Katie's] friends and family are behind her and will make sure she has the strength to pursue the case, so she is going full steam ahead."

Katie told new! that she and Sophie "know what [they] want to do with the range" and that she hopes "everyone loves it."
