Khloe Kardashian mulls surrogacy options for baby No. 2 after ‘high-risk’ pregnancy warning
With just a few hours to go before the final season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” kicks off, a new teaser from Thursday’s premiere showed Khloe Kardashian reveal she’s been warned her next pregnancy would be high-risk should she decide to have another baby. In the clip, excerpted by People, Khloe, 36, tells Kim Kardashian West her doctor expressed “concern” following recent tests. “I’m not gonna get into specifics on-camera, but they said it’s like an 80-something percent chance that I will miscarry,” she tells Kim, who used surrogates for her second and third children after suffering from multiple dangerous pregnancy complications when she was pregnant with her first two. Khloe goes on to say she “almost miscarried with True,” the nearly 3-year-old daughter she shares with on-again beau Tristan Thompson. “This is all really shocking to me,” Khloe says to the camera. “All I’m trying to do is bring more love into my life and into my family, and I just seem to be running into more and more roadblocks. It’s really hard for me to digest.” In response to her sister’s news, Kim assures her that she “had the best experience with surrogacy.” Kim adds, “And I think that you know what giving birth feels like — I always say, if you can do it, it’s such an amazing experience. But you’ll see, the love that you’ll have for your kids is exactly the same. There’s no difference, except that there was someone else that was the carrier.” Khloe, meanwhile, admits she’s struggling with the idea of not being pregnant herself. “It’s such a beautiful experience …,” she says. “Knowing I might not ever get to feel like that again, it’s daunting, it’s scary, it’s stressful. It breaks my heart.” Khloe seemingly she and Tristan were back in a loved-up birthday post after his 30th.

Lady Gaga ‘sees a future with’ boyfriend Michael Polansky
Lady Gaga’s romance with tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky is still going strong more than a year after the couple debuted their romance on Instagram. “[She’s] super in love,” an insider tells ET. “She has been telling her friends that she wants to get through a few projects and then focus on settling down,” adds the source. One of the projects is presumably “House of Gucci,” which Gaga’s been filming this month with Adam Driver in Italy. At some point when she’s not busy playing former Gucci chief adviserPatrizia Reggiani, though, ET’s source says she, “wants to have children one day and sees a future with Michael.” Lady G.’s said as much in the past, telling InStyle last year that she’s “very excited to have kids” and “be a mom” someday. As for when that might be? The two “haven’t been talking about engagement or marriage yet,” according to the insider, who adds: “Friends don’t think that will happen any time soon. She’s very busy with her career and is not thinking about long term plans right now, but she loves having him by her side.” “House of Gucci,” by the way, is due out Nov. 24.
Billie Eilish wore a wig for ‘months’ before unveiling blonde hair
That Debbie Harry-esque blonde hair Billie Eilish unveiled on Wednesday, shocking her army of fans, is actually not so new. After debuting the unexpected look on Instagram, Billie, 19, headed over to TikTok, where she revealed that she has, in fact, been wearing a black and neon green wig for “like two months,” as she put it in a video where she showed off the faux hair. Millions of likes (and more than a few comments along the lines of “this is why I have trust issues”) later, we’ve also learned from a since deleted video shared by the singer’s hairstylist, Lisa Renn, that it took about six weeks to get Billie’s hair to its current platinum color. So why all the secrecy? Superfans may recall Billie’s plea back in December to cut her a break on the social media hair color criticism. “This is the longest i’ve had the same hair color since i was 13 & that’s on mental stability and growth leave me alone,” she told fans at the time. The 19-year-old added that she planned to change the color after the release of her new doc, “The World’s a Little Blurry,” which came out late last month.

Late-night hosts grapple with Atlanta-area killings
We may have (finally) left 2020 in the dust, but that dust cloud has yet to settle. Late-night hosts across the networks made that clear in their Wednesday coverage of the shootings that left eight people, most of whom were women and of Asian descent, dead in Georgia on Tuesday. “In moments like this, I never know what to say, other than our hearts go out to everyone struck by this terrible tragedy. Because I don’t have any answers. Not immediately,” said Stephen Colbert (via The Guardian) after criticizing police who reiterated the suspect’s claim he was motivated by sex addiction, not racism. “The only answer that comes to mind is a simple but strangely difficult one these days, and that’s not to hate each other.” Rather, he said, the answer is, “… To recognize our common humanity; to acknowledge that we’re a nation of immigrants.” He continued: “We might believe different things, we might not look the same, but we’re all Americans. We share a common belief that all men are created equal, and it is that belief itself that makes people want to come here.” Trevor Noah also dismissed the alleged shooter’s sex addiction claim, saying, “You killed six Asian people … Your murder speaks louder than your words.” Samantha Bee, meanwhile, called the crime, “an active hate that demands action” and “a terrifying reminder of the dangers women and especially women of color face just by living their lives.”
Sheryl Underwood reflects on Sharon Osbourne exchange amid ‘The Talk’ hiatus
It’s unclear what’s next for Sharon Osbourne after “The Talk” went on hiatus to investigate the heated exchange she had about racism and Piers Morgan’s comments about Duchess Meghan with guest moderator Sheryl Underwood on the show last week. But Sheryl, for her part, seems to be finding peace with the situation. “The vibe for me was, this was already forgiven and over as soon as it was said,” she told Steve Harvey on his show a few days after the blowup. “I thought I was talking with colleagues, and I thought we were having a great conversation,” Sheryl said on her “The World According to Sheryl” podcast (via CNN). “It didn’t go so great, part of it.” She went on to thank those who’d reached out to support her, then reminded listeners that as the moderator while Carrie Ann Inaba was out sick, her goal was to continue doing her job and stay focused. Referencing the moment when she said to Sharon, “forgive me,” Sharyl explained on her podcast: “When I can get ‘Forgive me’ out of my mouth, that means you are ready for the healing. I said, ‘I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry, I never meant to hurt you.'” Sharon had by that point become visibly emotional and Sheryl said she could see “that there was some anxiety” the co-hosts faces. But she was honestly thinking about getting to a dentist appointment after the show and taking a nap, she said. When it came time to go to work the next day, she recalled telling herself, “Sheryl, this is entertainment, this is television, it is daytime television. You want to keep this show on the air for 10 more years, because you believe it has legs. And people go through stuff on shows all the time.” Finally, Sheryl revealed that after the episode, Sharon asked if they could talk, which they did. She also said “slept well” after the incident because she knew she “didn’t do anything to anybody.” Sheryl added, “And I was a good friend. No matter what came toward me, I was a good friend.” She concluded, “My mantra, my way of thinking, is always forgiveness first and right beside that is apology. Those two things go together. I don’t know what’s in Sharon’s heart. I don’t know what she’s feeling. The only feelings I can control … are my own.”
Johnny Depp’s lawyers invoke Amber Heard’s $7M divorce settlement donation in libel case appeal
As promised, Johnny Depp and his legal team have appealed the actor’slibel suit against British tabloid, The Sun. According to Deadline, the UK Court of Appeal’s Lord Justice Underhill spent three hours on Thursday hearing Johnny’s lawyers explain his request for a retrial in the case, which the star brought against the news outlet after it branded him a “wife beater” in reference to his split from ex-wife Amber Heard. In a nutshell Johnny’s team claims the court threw out his original case becauseAmber’s promise to donate her $7 million divorce settlement to charity “tipped the scales” in favor of her domestic abuse claims. Since Amber has only donated a small portion of that money so far, Johnny’s lawyer reasoned, her testimony and credibility shouldn’t have been weighted so heavily. In which case, the whole trial warrants a do-over. The lawyer for The Sun’s publisher, News Group, responded by asking why Johnny’s team failed to question Amber on the divorce settlement donations. He also noted that implying Amber’s a “gold digger”is a nothing more than a “misogynistic trope.” Earlier this year, Amber’s attorney pointed out that the actress would have donated more than the payments she’s already made were it not for the fact Johnny keeps taking her to court. (He’s also suing her directly in a separate defamation case.) “We are not going to reach an immediate decision today,” the judge told those present Thursday, “but we will make it very shortly and it will be handed down in writing.”
Gwen Stefani teases Ellen DeGeneres about possibly being her maid of honor
For the first few years of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s relationship, Ellen DeGeneres prodded two endlessly about when they were getting engaged … or if they were already engaged … or, at one point, whether they’d like to get engaged on her show. So it’s only fair that Gwen, who’s now actively planning to marry Blake, should include Ellen somehow in the festivities. She threatened to do just that during an appearance on “Ellen” this week. “What’s happening with the wedding planning? I know Miley Cyrus said that she would sing at your wedding. Is there anything I can do?” Ellen asked, per ET. “I was thinking about that a lot,” Gwen said. “And I was thinking or I was picturing you in like a mauve? Like, a bridesmaid. Maybe maid of honor, you know?” Looking at Ellen’s cropped haircut, Gwyneth joked,”We can put some extensions in and we can make it like, a full flower arrangement … all that stuff.” Ellen nodded. “You just tell me the time and the place and I will be there,” the host said. “I don’t mind doing any of that for you, because you’re my friend and anything you ask, I will wear. I will put extensions in my hair. Anything at all,” she added. “That’s how much I love you, Gwen.” The singer smiled. “I love you too, Ellen,” she said. “You know that.” Gwenand Blake revealed their engagement last fall. In December, Gwen said they planned to see how the pandemic played out over “the next few months,” telling Ryan Seacrest in an interview she’d “rather [the wedding] not be a COVID situation.”
Angelina Jolie’s new domestic abuse filing has reportedly ‘taken a toll’ on Brad Pitt
This week, multiple outlets reported Angelina Jolie filed new documents in her custody battle against ex-husband Brad Pitt in which she says she can offer “proof and authority in support” of the domestic violence she’s alleged he committed. According to Us Weekly, that proof includes Angelina’s testimony as well as “the testimony of minor children,” presumably, the six she and Brad share. Filed on Friday, March 12, the new documents, and Angelina’s claims in general, which Brad has disputed, “have taken a toll” on the actor, who has “never [laid a hand on the children on Angelina],” a source tells Us. The person adds that they think Angelina is,“weaponizing their children in a last-ditch effort to gain a favorable outcome that will allow her to move the kids out of Los Angeles at her whim, without Brad’s approval or knowledge.”
