Little Mix are reportedly "formalising" Jesy Nelson's exit from the group to ensure she won't make money from their upcoming tour.
The girl group have vowed that their 2022 Confetti Tour will still go ahead next year following the announcement that both Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 29, and Perrie Edwards, 27, are expecting their first children.
But the group – which also features 28 year old Jade Thirlwall – are in the process of cutting financial ties with Jesy, 29, who quit the band in December.
It is believed that the Shout Out To My Ex hitmakers could make close to £5 million from the string of live dates, and are making sure Jesy doesn't earn from the tour.
Their move comes after Victoria Beckham pocketed £1million from the Spice Girls' 2019 reunion tour despite not appearing alongside Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie C.
A source told The Sun: "Jesy could have made megabucks if she'd remained as a director of Little Mix's business, Eternal Magic Touring, just like Victoria did with the Spice Girls.
"Leigh-Anne, Jade and Perrie are playing 24 dates from next April, including two sold-out nights in London.
"They are expecting to make almost £5million from those gigs and if Jesy had remained on board as a director of the firm, she would've been privy to cash from the band's live shows even if she didn't sing a note.
"But this was the only fair way for everybody going forward. It wouldn't have seemed right for Jesy to remain part of it."
Despite the reports, Jesy is still listed as an active director of Eternal Magic Touring and another company, named Eternal Dance Media.

The news comes after it was reported that Jesy would have still received a Brit Award for her contribution to Little Mix despite leaving five months before they picked up the gong.
A source told Daily Star ahead of their historic win: "Little Mix are very much a three piece now but if they win the award Jesy will still get sent a statue.
"As per BRIT awards rules every member of the band nominated get an award and she was a member for the time they are nominated for. It will no doubt be bitter sweet if Little Mix do win."
Jesy went on to congratulate her former bandmates for their victory on the night.
The singer took to her Instagram stories to share a photo of Leigh-Anne, Perrie and Jade holding their award.
Acknowledging their win, she posted five red heart emojis and three clapping hands emoji alongside the snap.
