Joe Garratt entered the Love Island villa on Monday night as one of the original contestants of the ITV2 show.
After coupling up with Lucie Donlan on the first night, the 23 year old found himself involved in a love triangle – with Tommy Fury choosing to re-couple with the blonde surfer when he arrived a few hours after the rest.
But with his handsome looks, toned body and thick head of hair, he's not got much to worry about – with Amber Gill already making her interests clear.
But prior to entering the villa, the reality star described himself as a “friend zone guy" and a "lot chubbier back then,” which has left fans eager to see his transformation.
In unearthed pictures from his Instagram dating back to 2013, the catering company owner looks adorable – and completely different to his Love Island look.
A 16 year old Joe can be seen alongside his friend at a festival in one snap, while in others he sports the same full head of hair with a cute baby face.
Prior to entering the villa, Joe revealed he was “excited” after being “single for a while”.

Talking to OK!, Joe exclaimed: “I’ve been single for a little while and am ready to meet someone. I sent something off [to apply for Love Island. What better idea to apply to a show with loads of beautiful girls and people I didn’t know and from all over the UK?!”
"I’ve got just one ex in the area [where I grew up] – it lasted a couple of years. I've only had one relationship. I was a friend zone guy and a lot chubbier back then. I did my knee at rugby but I was a bit too heavy and then started being healthy again.
"I came out of the friend zone, it changed things. I’ve always been confident and can back it up now!"

“Everyone keeps asking 'what’s your type'? The initial attraction is key, how I get on with the person – I like to joke and mess around a bit. If it works, then that’s what I’m looking for. "
And it appears Joe may have a little soft spot for last year’s contestant Dani Dyer, with him exclaiming: “Dani [Dyer] was really cool last year.
“I would have went with her ,she was a funny person.”
