Maren Morris has announced that she is canceling her 2021 RSVP Tour due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The North American tour was originally scheduled to be held this year but was postponed to 2021 due to the pandemic. But over the weekend, Morris shared the difficult decision on Twitter.
“Hi, darlings, There is so much hope with this vaccine being distributed in 2021, but we are still unsure of when we will be able to do the tour next year,” she tweeted.
The country music star said she decided to cancel the RSVP tour “With the prospect of, yet again, rescheduling half of the dates already becoming a reality.”
The singer assured that ticket holders will receive a full refund.
Morris also revealed that she is in the midst of working on her third record, and added, “I hope we can all come together and enjoy live shows safely again soon.”
The 17-city tour was rescheduled to kick off in April next year in Alpharetta, Georgia, and wrap up in July in Portland, Oregon.
