Mike Tindall gives the nation what they want and launches line of Budgy Smugglers

Mike Tindall is releasing his own special line of charity Budgy Smugglers after regularly appearing on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in some funky smalls.

The former rugby star, 44, braved the eyes of the world while in the Australian jungle, stripping down to his tropical briefs and earning the nickname 'Bald Thor' from social media fans.

Now, in collaboration with The Good, the Bad & the Rugby podcast team, Mike's launching two limited-edition designs, one brandishing the phrase "These are not my wife's" and the other declaring "Nibble my nuts".

Available to buy on Budgy Smugglers UK, profits are going straight to Cure Parkinson's, a charity very close to Mike's heart as his dad Phil has been suffering with the neurological condition for almost 20 years now.

Reflecting on his dad's deteriorating health, the son-in-law of Princess Anne, 72, shared with The Mirror: "My relationship with my dad is great, but it saddens me to see the man who taught me how to play rugby and taught me how to be a good sportsman – and generally a good bloke – has declined in his health through the crawling pace of this disease.

“If we can raise money and put it towards a cure, I will go through the pain for him, and enjoy it in some weird way.”

In 2021, Mike also referenced how Phil's body began to really struggle around the year he tied the knot with Zara, 41.

“It’s our 10-year wedding anniversary and it was that year that … through his Parkinson’s, his spine in his back is obviously curved, and then it caused problems with his discs and then he had to have a wheelchair at the wedding," he said.

"He could walk some bits of it.”

In the annual ITV series, Mike regaled comedian Seann Walsh, 36, with the tale of the time he disastrously s**t-dropped in front of Princess Anne at a royal wedding – resulting in an embarrassing underwear anecdote.

“I love a suit. My problem with suits is I over-exaggerate dancing at weddings… I rip a lot of suits, trousers and stuff," he noted..

"The old s**t-drop gets me every time. I went to a wedding, ripped a suit, they were like, ‘Oh my god, what are you going to do?' I was like, ‘Don’t worry I’ve got a spare’. They were like, ‘Who brings a spare suit?’ Someone who rips a lot of trousers brings a spare suit.

"Zara had like a 30th birthday, it was a disco 70s-themed one, I was dancing on the dance floor, I had flares on, full outfit but it was quite tight, nothing ever fits – rugby player’s bum and legs – so I was dancing with my mother-in-law, and I did a s**t-drop in front of my mother-in-law."

Appearing on Good Morning Britain yesterday, he shared plans to "bashfully hide away" from his royal relatives at the next gathering after sharing that story.
