DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles is dating a mum-of-two who is 27 years younger than him, according to reports.

Nick, 58, is said to be in a relationship with Katie Dadzie, 31, after they initially met a couple of years ago at their children’s playgroup.

The couple were seen out in public at a restaurant in Bath last week and a source told The Sun that Nick and Katie have known each other for a couple of years, but didn't develop a romantic connection until recently.

The source said: “They actually met through their youngest offspring and went on a few playdates as pals, before romance blossomed. Katie is a beautiful woman, fiercely independent and just Nick’s type.

“They’ve met one another’s friends and, although it’s early days, everyone is hopeful this might be for keeps,: they added.

The BBC presenter split from his wife Jessica Rose More, 33, in 2016, four years after they got hitched. The former couple have one son together, seven-year-old Eddie, together.

After their split, Jessica posted a string of tweets accusing Nick of “emotional cruelty, abuse and eventually isolation” during their marriage. Nick has vehemently denied this claim.

Nick has been linked to various women over the years including PR executive Emily Hallinan who he split from in January 2020.

Nick and his first wife, Gillian, were married from 1995 to 2000 and had three children together.

He then moved on with fellow presenter Suzi Perry before their split after living together for three years.

Nick then met former Emmerdale star Gemma Oaten at the TV Choice Awards in September 2016, where he promptly asked her out to dinner.

The relationship update comes after the BBC presenter was embroiled in a storm with the BBC after breaking strict advertising rules as he fronted a Shreddies cereal advert.

While it was rumoured Nick would be axed from the show, a joint statement from the presenter and the BBC released at the time read: “Both the BBC and Nick are keen to resolve this matter and are working together to seek a solution.”

Nick started his DIY SOS journey back in 1999 and the show has since become a fan-favourite.
