Prince Philip will remain in the hospital.
The 99-year-old royal, according to a new statement released by the Palace moments ago, is “comfortable and responding to treatment but is not expected to leave hospital for several days.”
The royal has been in the hospital for a full week after feeling unwell, and the palace has cited his hospital stay as a precautionary measure.
The Prince’s son, Prince Edward, added that his dad is “a lot better.”
“He’s looking forward to getting out, which is the most positive thing, so we keep our fingers crossed,” Prince Edward added.
Prince William provided an update on his grandfather this week as well.
