The ‘Crank That (Soulja Boy)’ hitmaker puts Twitch on blast for kicking him out twice in one day ‘without any proof or explanation,’ calling the streaming platform ‘racist.’
AceShowbiz –Soulja Boy was furious. The rapper accused Twitch of unfairly banning him and threatened to take the company to court after he was blocked from the platform twice in record time. He called himself the only rapper to “get banned, then unbanned, then banned within an hour.”
The “DeAndre Way” star accused the streaming service of racism following his latest ban, “I need the best lawyer money can buy dm me I got millions I wanna sue twitch I feel like they racist they ban me without no explanation I will not stand for this.”
“I can’t believe twitch can just ban you without any proof or explanation. This doesn’t feel right. I gotta sue these people,” he also wrote in a series of posts. “Who is the CEO of twitch and where can I find this n***a at. If y’all don’t give me my account back I’m taking y’all to court.”
Soulja Boy was first banned by Twitch on December 9. He was allegedly punished after playing sound samples while making music. Fans speculated he might get a copyright strike for the sample. After his account was reinstated, he was kicked out of the platform again on December 10.
Before criticizing Twitch, the rapper was a huge supporter of the streaming service. He even put fellow streamers on blast for leaving Twitch to join YouTube. “They sold out for clout! I never do that! I never leave Twitch for the clout!” he said while bragging about his fortune, showing off stack of dollar bills and his expensive car.
The “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” hitmaker was not the only hip-hop artist to use Twitch to interact with fans. The likes of Lil Yachty, Post Malone, Snoop Dogg, Timbaland, and T-Pain were also among popular streamers on the platform.
