Steph McGovern has announced the birth of her baby daughter.
The former BBC Breakfast journalist tweeted the happy news today.
"Well hello world, just surfaced to let you know that we now have a daughter!" she wrote.
"Born on Monday morning just as @BBCBreakfast was wrapping up. We’re all fine and dandy. Just getting used to the eau de sick/poo I am now regularly wearing. #babylife ."
It is Steph's first child with her TV executive girlfriend, whose identity she has never revealed.
A source told The Sun that Steph "values her privacy too much" to talk about the relationship and we shouldn't be holding our breath for "any magazine shoots any time soon".
She had previously opened up about having a rough time of it and has suffered badly with morning sickness in the early days of her pregnancy.
When the presenter revealed she was expecting, she wrote on Twitter: "Yep, I am no longer with pot belly… I am now with child.”
It comes after Steph quit BBC Breakfast to host her own show on Channel 4.
The host, who presented the business briefing segments of the show every weekday, will now be fronting the Channel 4 programme The Steph Show from spring 2020.
"I'm really chuffed to be creating my own live show," she said.
"This is a dream come true for me and I can't wait to get started next year. Just a small matter of having a baby first!"
A BBC insider told Mirror Online that Steph didn't want to continue with her gruelling early-morning shifts after she gives birth.
"She is definitely leaving Breakfast but won't be exclusively signed to Channel 4," they went on.
"It means she'll be able to continue working with the BBC on shows like Watchdog."
