Sustainable Princess Kate Middleton rewears much-loved camel coat on solo outing

Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, is known for recycling her clothing, and she did just that as she arrived at a nursing home in Slough, where she's set to whip up some pancakes with the residents on Shrove Tuesday.

Kate, 40, looked as stylish as ever as she wore a £470 camel coat from Max&Co that she was seen wearing on a previous engagement to Scarborough in November 2022.

For her visit to the Oxford House Nursing Home on Tuesday, Kate teamed the coat with a navy blue turtleneck top and wide legged trousers that flowed to the floor.

She continued the navy hue with her accessories, including a pair of large button-style earrings with gold patterns, and a £230 Polene No 7 bag, which she has also been spotted with before.

Mother of three, Kate, looked radiant as she sported her usual pared-back makeup look with mascara, subtle blusher and a hint of pale pink lipstick, whilst she wore her long dark hair down.

The Princess of Wales visited the nursing home to discover how the family-run business is caring for the elderly.

Kate is dedicated to improving the experiences of the very young through her early years work, however her focus at the nursing home will be for her learn how those at the end of their lives are supported at the facility.

Based in Slough, the nursing home looks after up to 34 residents. It also operates a domiciliary care organisation, Oxford House Community Care, which provides support to enable local residents to live independently in their own homes.

During her visit Kate will hear about Oxford House’s use of technology to stimulate and enrich the daily lives of residents.

Kate will also join residents taking part in a pancake making activity to mark Shrove Tuesday, before visiting the home’s award-winning garden to meet with staff and volunteers.

Kate's outing on Tuesday marks the second time this week that she has recycled an old outfit, as she attended the EE BAFTA film awards in London on Sunday night wearing the same white Alexander McQueen gown that she wore to the BAFTAs in 2019.

Although the dress was the same, it had undergone a few minor alterations, including turning the floral design on the shoulder into flowing material, with Kate adding a pair of long black gloves and ornate gold £18 Zara earrings to edge up the look.

Kate attended the awards with her husband of 11 years, Prince William, the Prince of Wales, who looked dapper in a tuxedo.

At one point, Kate made a very rare public display of affection as she cheekily patted Prince William on the bottom as they walked along the carpet.
