Josephine Jobert was one of the stars returning for the Christmas special of Death in Paradise last night. Earlier today, the Florence Cassell star took to Instagram to share her well-wishes to one of her co-stars on the series.
The highly anticipated special of Death in Paradise aired on BBC One last night as action returned to Guadeloupe.
In a Christmas episode of the light-hearted crime series, Josephine reunited with Ralf Little’s Neville Parker.
The special hour-and-a-half-long outing focussed on the mystery of a shipping magnate’s death at Christmas party.
Drama ensued after a man connected to the death received a Christmas card all the way in London.
Following its airing, Josephine took to Instagram to share some insight into the filming.
She also penned a heartfelt goodbye to one of the episode’s stars.
Writing in view of her 94,000 followers, she penned: “We only has one scene together but it wa so nice meeting you @elizabethtan8. (sic)
“Thank you for your kindness and beautiful smile.”
Josephine also shared a snap of her and actor Elizabeth Tan on the show’s set.
Elizabeth played Bliss Monroe in the Christmas special, who finds herself linked to the mysterious death.
The actor also shared her excitement to be appearing in a guest role on the show.
She penned on Instagram yesterday: “On your screens tonight as Bliss Monroe in #DeathInParadise (90min Christmas Special), 7:30pm, @BBCONE.
“Had an incredible time filming this show in Guadeloupe (French Caribbean) this year.
“And had some unforgettable adventures with @realjulietstevenson and @tessabonhamjones, both very talented and a lot of fun!”
Fans of the show last night were also delighted to see what was next for Florence and Neville’s romance.
This came after season 10 ended with the pair potentially going on a date.
However, it seems nothing will be solved just yet for the pair after an awkward video call.
While Neville poured his heart out, technology let them down as Florence’s camera froze.
He told her: “There’s been something I’ve been wanting to say for a while now.
“I’ve had a really great time this last year in Saint Marie, and a lot of that has been down to you and I think us spending time together.
“I’ve maybe grown a bit fond of you – a lot fond of you, actually.
“So I was wondering if, would you maybe consider going for a drink, or dinner, or just a walk on the beach with me maybe… ever?”
Florence later revealed she did actually hear Neville’s message but didn’t know what to do about it.
The Death in Paradise Christmas special is available to watch on BBC iPlayer now.
