The Royals Shared a New Photo of Prince William and His Kids For Father's Day

On Saturday, the royal family released some new images in anticipation of Father’s Day featuring Prince William and his three children, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4. Released on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s official Instagram account, it’s a photo from a series taken in Jordan in the fall of 2021 during a family vacation.

“Wishing a Happy Father’s Day to fathers and grandfathers across the world today!” they wrote in the caption. In the photo, Louis is on William’s shoulders, and Charlotte and George are laughing at his side. A beautiful desert panorama is visible behind them.

William is wearing a casual olive green polo and khakis, George has on a camo shirt in similar shades, and the two youngest are in navy and white.

The Christmas Card taken during the same vacation shows them in what looks like the same outfits, this time seated against a natural stone formation as a family.

It will be William’s fortieth birthday in a few days, which might mean more photos. In 2020, they also shared some pics of the kids rough housing with William on the lawn for his birthday.

Thank you everyone for your very kind wishes on The Duke of Cambridge’s birthday today! 🎂 🎈

The royal family recently celebrated Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, reuniting with William’s younger brother Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle. It was the Sussexes’ first time back in the U.K. with their two children since they stepped down from their royal duties as working members of the family.

After the festivities were done, the Cambridges thanked everyone for the amazing celebration on Twitter.

“What a fantastic weekend of celebrations. Seeing people across the nation coming together with family, friends and loved ones has been extremely special,” they wrote. “Thank you to everyone who turned out to show their gratitude to The Queen and her inspiring 70 years of leadership. From the crowds on the Mall to communities hosting street parties up and down the country, we hope you had a weekend to remember.”
