The Weeknd was the top winner at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, winning in 10 categories.
The R&B superstar took home the awards for Top Artist, Top Male Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist.
His megahit “Blinding Lights” was adjudged the best Hot 100 song, Top Radio Song and Top Hot 100 Song Presented by Rockstar.
The Weeknd also won the Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Male Artist and Top Radio Songs Artist awards.
The Canadian singer-songwriter’s After Hours was selected as Top R&B Album.
With this, the Weeknd’s career total of BBMAs rose to 19.
Dressed in a long black trench coat, the Weeknd also staged a wild performance of “Save Your Tears” at the award ceremony, presented at the L.A. Live complex in Los Angeles on Sunday.
In his acceptance speech, the Weeknd thanked his fellow nominees, his team and his family for all of their support over the last year.
