TOWIE’s Shelby Tribble BLASTS former BFF Clelia Theodorou after that explosive on-screen row as she says their friendship is over for good and vows ‘the truth always comes out’ – EXCLUSIVE

TOWIE stars Shelby Tribble and Clelia Theodorou’s seven year friendship is in tatters after the pair clashed on the ITVBe show, as Clelia, 24, accused Shelby, 27, of not being there to support her when she split with her ex-boyfriend.

As they came to blows on a bench in the street, Clelia claimed that Shelby was too preoccupied with boyfriend Sam Mucklow and didn’t contact her – a claim which Shelby denies.

The brunette has now said their friendship is over for good and that there are text messages to move that she contacted Clelia, while she vows “the truth always comes out in the end.”

Speaking to OK! online in an exclusive interview, Shelby said: “The situation with Clelia has come out of the blue, but at the same time I don’t know if it has really come out of the blue.

“I feel like it’s an excuse to maybe fall out. I couldn’t even tell you myself, its all very confusing. It’s a weird situation so it has been hard because it’s someone I trusted and I’ve known for a long time so for them to let you down and disappoint you…

“You only see what you see on the show, you don’t see what goes on behind. She’s been doing a lot of very not nice things which is really sad because you think ‘OK you don’t like me for whatever reason’, but I don’t think that is a substantial reason to merit what you’re doing outside of it all. I just don’t think it’s very nice. Have the respect.

“We don’t get on anymore but I still have respect for her for being my friend for so long. I wouldn’t dream of doing the things that she’s been doing behind the scenes.”

Shelby – who is loved-up with boyfriend Sam Mucklow – said that the situation has been really hard and has had a big effect on her, but she has accepted that Clelia is “not going to be part of my life.”

She told us: “It’s a sad situation and obviously it has put stress on everything. I was feeling low and then on top of that you have people watching the show that don’t actually know the real story and then you get abused by trolls when you think ‘actually guys you know nothing.’

“I try not to read it and hit the big fat block button and at the same time I try to focus on all the positives because I have so much support and people who can see through the situation, which is nice.

“But yeah, obviously its been a hard time for me and I’m the kind of person who gets affected really easily. I’m not a strong character so things like this can take a bigger effect.

“And obviously for Sam it’s not been nice because I’m constantly upset so it’s upsetting for him and stressful for him. It’s just a bit of a crappy time in regards to all that situation. We had the chat and its done."

She continued: “To be honest as sad as it is to say, people come and go in your life and unfortunately, it’s one of those things. She is not going to be part of my life.

“She was there for a good amount of time and we have had some amazing memories together, but I just think that I’ve got so many other good friends around me and I’ve just learnt to surround myself with positive energy.

“My good friends, we could go for weeks and not speak, or months even, and things never change. I think they are your real friends, your real good friends.

“The problem is I will always hold my hands up and say when I’m in the wrong. I am stubborn, but I know when I’m in the wrong and I will hold my hands up and say sorry.

“But I refuse to back down because I know that I’m not in the wrong this time. That’s why I haven’t backed down this time. Why would I back down from something when I know the truth? I know the real story behind it all.

“You are only seeing the TV show which is not the full picture and obviously that can make you look a certain way.

“At the end of the day, the truth always comes out in the end. I have no guilty conscience. I can hold my head up high and walk away from the situation feeling good.

“It’s got to the point now where I’m bored of talking about it because it doesn’t have a positive impact on my life and I’d rather chose to not continue talking about it.”
