Adele paused her Las Vegas residency show to share her love for Lizzo with fans following the star’s documentary release.

The singer was performing a show as part of her Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Taking a breather from belting out her emotional hits, she launched into a story of how she met the About Damn Time singer and revealed she had watched her documentary and ‘absolutely loved it’.

Love, Lizzo was released on HBO Max last November and offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at the hitmaker’s rise to fame from when she was a little girl to her now bustling career in the music industry.

Speaking to the audience, Adele reminisced on when she first met the artist before any of her songs had hit the airwaves.

She said: ‘I met her at a house party, she was signed but this was before anything had come out.’
