Horrified mum shows off the piles of filth which were inside her radiators after she cleaned them for the first time

A HORRIFIED mum has shown off the pile of filth she discovered inside her radiators after cleaning them for the first time.

The shocked woman called the process “gross yet satisfying” and shared photos of the aftermath.

Taking the Facebook group Family Lockdown Tips & Ideas, she wrote: “Soooo if anyone is in isolation (2 days left for us) and wants something gross yet satisfying to do- pour water mixed with a bit of comfort through your radiators and watch the crap come out the bottom.

“This sieve was from just 3 of mine.

“Never been done and I’ve lived here 4 years. Don’t judge.”

To catch the water, she rolled up towels as close as she could to the skirting board, and then used a bowl to catch water that was poured through the radiator.

Many people were horrified by the gunk and said they wanted to clean their own radiators.

One wrote: “I dread to think what will come out of mine.”

Another added: “Totally gross! I’m doing it!”

And a third commented: “I’ve been in my house for 10 years they have never been done and never knew how to get it done thank you for the tip.”

However, others warned that you should not use a flammable conditioner, as it could be dangerous.

One person explained: “Comfort or any form of cleaning product unless stated shouldn’t be put into/onto a radiator because it’s highly flammable.”
