I can’t afford a tumble dryer so I air my entire family’s clothes in the BATH – it’s really quick, easy & works so well

A WOMAN has revealed her handy solution to drying her family’s clothes without having to pay for a tumble dryer.

The mum took to Facebook showing how she airs her entire household’s laundry in the bath for free using multiple racks.

She wrote: “My little laundry tip.

“Might be an obvious one already but hopefully it will help at least one person.

“With the energy costs changing I thought I would share what I do with my laundry when I am unable to put it outside on the washing line.

“I’m actually not lucky enough to have space for a tumble drier so when it’s wet I do this.

“I use hangers to hang everyone’s tops up in age order along my shower rail (helpful for when they are all dry, as I can just take a section to each persons room without having to sort them first) and I also use two over bath airers for smaller items and trousers.

“I usually can fit 2 loads out when doing this.

“I try to put it out early morning whilst everyone else is at work and school so usually by evening it’s only slightly wet, it then gets moved for baths etc but put back in when finished. It’s usually dry by the next day.”

Her post has racked up thousands of likes, and many mums praised her hack.
