The RSPCA is looking for people to cuddle adorable kittens and rabbits this summer – The Sun

EVER dreamt of a job that requires you to do nothing but cuddle cute animals all day? Well then do we have good news for you.

The RSPCA is looking for people to socialise with its cats and rabbits and other small furry animals this summer.

The roles are unpaid but with all the free cuddles it is sure to be a very rewarding job, plus the charity is throwing in free tea and biscuits.

Advertising for volunteers on Facebook the RSPCA Manchester wrote: “Our first animal centre is now open and we need your help!”

It explained that full training will be provided and they need people to commit to the same weekly slot.

For the role of “Cat Cuddler” you have the taxing task to “sit and fuss felines” while they wait for their forever homes.

Describing the Rabbit Socialiser role, the charity writes: “Bunnies love company and many enjoy a good cheek rub or to use you as a fun climbing frame delivering treats!”

Other volunteer roles include Small Animal Care Assistants where you will be feeding and cleaning rabbits and guinea pigs as well as other “small furries.”

A Cat Care Assistant role is also up for grabs as are several weekend reception staff vacancies.

The RSPCA is also in desperate need of people to volunteer as home visitors, requiring them to pay visits to potential adopter’s homes.

Those who live in the Manchester and Salford area who are interested in volunteering should email [email protected] for more information.
