If you haven’t seen the baked feta pasta videos on TikTok yet, you’re in for a treat. TikTok users have recently been posting videos of themselves making the quick yet delicious recipe and going viral because of it.
The baked feta pasta recipe, made popular by TikTok users all over the world, is simply cherry tomatoes mixed with olive oil and placed in an oven dish with a block of feta cheese.
After the ingredients are cooked for around 40 minutes in the oven, you mix everything together to make a sauce, throw in some garlic and basil, and then serve the end result with pasta.
The internet has seen multiple variations of the recipe since it first went viral on TikTok, and now Asda has hopped onto the trend.
The supermarket is selling a food bundle which includes all the ingredients needed for the quick recipe.
Asda’s food bundle, which is named the Baked Feta Cheese Bundle on the supermarket’s website, costs only £3.68.
Included in the bundle are a bag of penne pasta, dried basil, cherry tomatoes, garlic, and feta.
Customers can also buy the ingredients on their own, with Asda’s feta cheese costing only £1.20.
The other four products in the bundle cost less than a £1.

Receiving more than a thousand likes on his post, one Twitter user said: “Why are asda doing a bundle for that tiktok feta pasta.”
Other customers were impressed with the supermarket’s efforts, with one Twitter user commenting: “From a marketing point of view, it makes perfect sense.”
Another added: “It’s hello fresh but a million times cheaper. More supermarkets should do this.”
One customer retweeted the photo of the Asda bundle, saying: “Erm absolute bargain tho.”
“This is actually quite nice for people who aren’t sure of what ingredients to use and want to take part,” another commented.
To make the viral pasta recipe at home, all you need are the vital ingredients: pasta, olive oil, cherry tomatoes, feta, garlic, and basil.
You can also add some salt and red pepper flakes for more flavour.
MacKenzie Smith, cookbook author and owner of the Grilled Cheese Social food blog, has shared her tips on how to make the popular pasta dish.
Firstly, preheat your oven to 200 degrees, and combine your cherry tomatoes, olive oil, salt, and red pepper flakes into a large baking dish.
Stick your block of feta right in the middle of the dish and add another glug of olive oil and some red pepper.
Put the entire dish straight into the oven, letting it bake for half an hour.
Crank the oven up to 230 degrees after the 30 minutes are up, and leave the dish in for another 10 minutes.
While the sauce is cooking, chop up the garlic and the basil and, when it’s ready, add the, to the dish.
Stir the mixture before adding pasta to the dish, and then stir again.
Sprinkle basil on the top, and your easy meal is ready to be served.
