After saying goodbye to the limited edition Katsu nuggets last week, McDonald’s has some new menu additions to try.
This month, the fast food chain is launching the Homestyle Crispy Chicken – a chicken breast fillet in a crispy coating, topped with a hot and spicy mayo, caramelised onion compote, seasonal lettuce, bacon, red onions, a slice of cheddar cheese and a glazed poppy and sesame seed bun.
The burger costs £6.09 and is the only limited-edition menu item we haven’t seen before.
February also sees the return of the popular Grand Big Mac (with or without bacon).
For those who haven’t had a chance to try it in its first two runs, is just a much larger version of the classic – two beef patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, onion, pickles, and the special Big Mac sauce in a sesame topped bun.
The bigger burger costs £5.79 or £6.19 if you add bacon.
Mozzarella dippers are also back, costing £1.89 for three or £5.09 for a sharing box of nine.
Finally, the new McFlurry flavour this month is Cadbury’s Flake, which is served either just with chunks of the bar or with an added raspberry sauce. It’s available as a mini for £0.99, or regular size at £1.39.
All the items will be available for six weeks, launching on February 10 and running until March 23.
Although McDonald’s restaurants are currently closed for dine-in and walk-in takeaway, customers can still order via the drive-thru, McDelivery and click & serve using the My McDonald’s App.
