Last L.A. Home Naya Rivera Shared with Son Josey Before Her Death Is for Sale for $2.7 Million

The home that Naya Rivera shared with her son, Josey, now 5, prior to her shocking drowning is officially for sale, six months after she was confirmed dead at age 33.

The late Glee star's former home, located in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz, was put on the market on January 5th for $2,695,000, a real estate source confirms to PEOPLE. The listing is held by Robb and Nikki Friedman of Keller Williams Realty Calabasas.

According to property records, Rivera purchased the home in May 2018 for $1,660,000, just a month before her divorce from ex-husband Ryan Dorsey, with whom she shared son Josey, was finalized.

The home's listing details that the four-bedroom, three-bathroom property is newly renovated and features white oak hardwood and iron windows throughout. It boasts 2,762 square feet of living space, plus a large backyard with a pool and patio complete with a built-in barbecue.

The first floor of the two-story home features an open-concept kitchen, which leads into a family room with large bay windows. There's also a formal living room with a fireplace.

The second floor houses two of the four bedrooms including the main suite, which has a large walk-in closet and a "modern farmhouse"-inspired ensuite bathroom. A large outdoor terrace overlooking the backyard is also accessible via the second floor.

Rivera sold the home she shared with Dorsey, which was also located in Los Feliz, for $3,550,000 million in July 2018, according to Variety

On July 13, Rivera's body was found in Lake Piru in Ventura County, California — five days after she disappeared during a boating excursion. Her cause of death was ruled as drowning and the manner of death was determined to be an accident. She was laid to rest on July 24.

Following her death, Rivera's sister, Nickayla, moved in with Dorsey and Josey to help care for her young nephew.

"Along with Nickayla and both of their families, Ryan works hard at making things the best possible for Josey. They are getting ready for Christmas now," a source told PEOPLE of Dorsey and Nickayla in December, noting that the families would be spending the holiday together.

"Ryan is very much about keeping Naya's memory alive. He often tells Josey, 'Mommy would have liked that,'" the source said at the time.

As a way to keep her close to their hearts, Dorsey and 5-year-old Josey "look at pictures together and Ryan reminds Josey about all the fun that he had with his mom. Ryan is very focused on being the best dad," said the source. "He is doing a great job."

Rivera and Dorsey had a complicated relationship, and Rivera filed for divorce twice after they welcomed Josey in September 2015.

The two first started to date in 2010 and four years later, in July 2014, they surprised fans when PEOPLE exclusively confirmed they had tied the knot in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, just three months after the actress broke off her engagement to rapper Big Sean.
