We've all been there.
You get to the supermarket and realise you don't have a £1 or a token for the trolley.
Well, instead of lugging around a heavy basket, or two, filled with their food shop, one customer took matters into their own hands.
Posting the supermarket shopping trolley tip on Twitter, the Asda customer shared a trick to prevent anyone getting stuck again.

Uploading a picture on Twitter, they revealed they use a key to unlock the trolley.
The tweet read: "Life hack if you ain’t got a quid for a trolley."
In the image the circular part of the key can be seen in the slot where the coin or token usually goes.
"This is incredible," wrote one Twitter user.

While another revealed they do it too, writing: "I do this I dunno how I discovered it!"
A third added: "Couldn't have told me this yesterday when I had to do a big Aldi shop with nothing but a basket and sheer brute strength."
