WHEN YOU’RE A KID, Halloween is, quite simply, the greatest day ever.You get to put on spooky-or-spooky-cute fancy dress, go door to door with your friends and collect loads and loads of sweets – and then you get to eat them.
Even younger kids who might not be trick-or-treating yet can get into the festive Halloween spirit by donning a costume and helping their parents bring sweets to the door every time the bell rings.
In the UK, the most popular – and failsafe – Halloween costumes for kids tend to fall into the category of ‘spooky’. The good news with many is that they can be reused for other fancy dress occasions like World Book Day and kids’ birthday parties.
