Boy, 9, reduced to tears by ‘aggressive’ Ryanair Ibiza stag group

A nine-year-old boy was reduced to tears on a Ryanair flight by a stag group who became 'aggressive' and 'intimidating' during a flight from Edinburgh to Ibiza.

The large group of 30+ men left passengers, young and old, terrified with their "disgusting" behaviour as they became more and more drunk.

It's claimed that a party member subjected a member of cabin crew to verbal abuse calling him a 'nonce' while another attempted to 'get off' the plane mid-air prompting cabin crew to block his path with the drinks trolley.

The group used obscene language, bragged about taking d**k pics and spilled drinks over other passengers with one attempting to sit in the lap of a female passenger, it's claimed.

The mother of the boy, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "My son was left in tears. He was terrified and wondering what these big men would do. Children shouldn't have to sit through that, nobody should. A couple of elderly people were visibly shaking.

"I've never been so disgusted and intimated in my life."

The stag was dressed in a black PVC S&M outfit with thigh-length boots.

The mum added: "We first saw them at the airport. They were wearing T-shirts with his name on, along with a picture of a man appearing to perform a sex act on another man.

"My nine-year-old son asked what the picture was and we just told him it was a funny picture.

"At fist they just seemed to be having a good time.

"As soon as we stepped on the plane it was obvious they were going to get rowdy. I felt sorry for the cabin crew who dealt with the incident very well.

"The group was warned over the Tannoy before we left the gate that it wasn't too late for them to be offloaded, but they cheered at the announcement. They couldn't care a less.

"The language being used was disgusting and disgraceful. There was no awareness of other pasengers.

"At one point one of the men started hammering on the side of the plane. He was punching the wall. I was worried and then he said 'I'm going. 'I'm getting off the plane'.

"He walked down towards the cabin crew and I thought he was going to open the door. It was horrific and I was terrified. The crew pleaded with him to sit down."

Another passenger, who was flying with her husband, told how quick-thinking cabin crew stopped him.

"His friend said 'don't be an idiot' and cabin crew used the drinks trolley to block him.

"He was falling over. He picked a can from the trolley and went back to his seat and just fell asleep."

Passengers have praised the Ryanair cabin crew who remained "calm and composed" on Flight FR6605.

"The crew were fantastic. We thanked them. They were very good.

"From what I understand the stag group said they had come down from Aberdeen.

"They were loud at the airport. I'm not a prude but their language was quite shocking.

"They were using F-words and the C-word. It wasn't directed at anyone but they got louder and and louder.

"We were boarding and were hoping that we were sitting a long way away from them but when we got to our seats we were right in the middle of them.

"I fly a lot but I almost got off the plane.
