The singer has earned a staggering £83million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Cliff – who was born Harry Rodger Webb – started making his money in the music industry in the 50s.

The musician was born on October 14, 1940, in Lucknow, India and moved to the UK when he was eight years old.

He is said to have found his love for music at 16.

Two years later, Cliff became the lead singer of the rock and roll band the Drifters, who were also known as the Shadows.

The group proved to be hugely successful.

Their early single ‘Move It’ gained the number two spot in the UK charts.

Cliff also released multiple singles by himself, gaining recognition in the UK as well as the USA.

Acting also helped boost his bank balance.

Cliff starred in films including Summer Holiday, The Young Ones, Wonderful Life and Finders Keepers.

Furthermore, he added to his fortune with writing credits in many of the films he acted in as well as songs to accompany them.

The performer was so popular that Cliff was named the top cinema box office attraction in the UK in 1962 and 1963.

Cliff has released a number of singles over the years.

In total, he has bagged 14 UK number one singles, with total sales of more than 21 million singles.

He released little original music past 20211 but unveiled new album Rise Up in 2018 – a title Cliff said was inspired by his fight with the BBC over the reporting of a police search of his Berkshire home in 2014.

The incident did not result in an arrest or charge.

Cliff has also put some of his fortune in property. Earlier in 2020, he put his Barbados mansion on the market for a huge £6.8million.
