Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack has been spotted sporting a very voluminous hair look, after hinting that a wig she had been wearing for a TV project made her naturally sleek hair turn wavy.

“Post wig hair,” she wrote on the Instagram Stories post, showing off her new tousled locks.

Judging by the other clips on her Stories, we reckon the star has been filming for ITV’s The Emily Atack Show, and had to wear a brunette wig for some of the scenes.

While we’re unsure what character the 31 year old was playing as a brunette, her blonde mermaid waves are giving us serious Shakira vibes.

In the gorgeous snap, the star wears her hair flipped over to one side with tons of volume and tight messy waves falling down to her shoulders.

Emily didn’t keep the hairstyle for long though, as she returned to her Stories the next morning wearing her locks in a cute braided hairstyle, with her front sections left out.

The star tagged her glam team in the snap, including her go-to makeup artist Lydia Barnes and Strictly Come Dancing hairstylist Tracey Jones.

Emily and Lydia were spotted on Instagram this week attending her sister Martha’s hen party, where they posed together for a series of glamorous snaps. Emily opted for relaxed beachy waves for the event, which she paired with a nude lipstick and a bronzed smokey eye.

Emily first found fame on Channel 4’s The Inbetweeners, where she played the high school heartthrob Charlotte Hinchcliffe – otherwise known as "Big Jugs".

Since her TV debut, she’s been named runner-up on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here after Harry Redknapp, appointed as a team captain on ITV2’s Celebrity Juice, and found success in stand-up comedy.

Emily was 18 years old when she landed her role on The Inbetweeners, and 13 years later, she’s still looking as youthful as ever.

Luckily for us, earlier this year the star revealed her favourite beauty products that she claims "stops [her] from looking like a knackered toddler".

While they’re not cheap, if it’ll help us look more like Emily, we’ll definitely give it a go.
