Inside Olivia and Alex Bowen’s gorgeous Christmas decorations

Olivia and Alex Bowen have completely transformed their £1million mansion ready for Christmas.

The Love Island stars unveiled part of their Christmas decorations back in November, but it looks like that was just the beginning of their home's festive makeover.

Olivia and Alex have kept their followers updated with their festive fun, having documented their decorations over on the Instagram account they set up dedicated to their home, @thebowenhome.

The couple have now showed off their Christmas tree, along with their gorgeous dining table ahead of the big day.

Taking to their personal Instagram profiles, they both shared a reel of the Christmas tree being decorated, which they told fans was the first ever real tree they'd purchased together.

Alex could be seen standing next to the tree as Olivia passed him a bauble, before a new clip began showing the tree dressed with decorations.

The couple had opted for a traditional theme, choosing red and gold baubles and small ornaments to feature on the tree.

Twinkling fairy lights had been draped across each branch, and a huge sparkly star had been placed on the top.

Posting the clip, Alex wrote: "So the NEW Bowen’s Christmas tradition is to pick a real tree every year!"

Olivia also shared the footage, adding: "1st December feels. We’ve never had a real tree before & it is definitely worth it, our new family tradition, feels so festive".

A fan praised the pair for decorating their own tree, after numerous celebs and influencers have began sourcing professional decorators to help get their homes ready for the festive season.

Olivia responded by admitting that while other parts of their home had been professionally decorated, they had opted to complete the "special tree" themselves, as it will be where their presents are kept.

The couple then took to their home renovation account to show off the rest of their festive decor.

The kitchen and dining area had been completely transformed with a selection of red and gold decorative instalments.

Olivia and Alex's lavish dining table had been laid out ready for 25 December, with each dining place being set with a red place mat and white napkin wrapped up with a sparkling clasp.

A long red table runner had been draped across the middle of the table, with matching candles and a floral arrangement laid out on top of it.

Talking about the process of decorating the room, Olivia wrote: "Back last night at 10pm, decorated the Christmas table at 7am this morning, I think I might be excited? Maybe part jet lagged.

"I bought all these bits a good couple of months ago as I thought get in there early get organised & hopefully save some money on decs! The best places I found were garden centres online!

"They do the best Christmassy floral sparkly bits. Also I used Amazon for a lot of it! Just got a plain battery lit Garland & bulked it out with berries, ribbon & big red floral decs! I am so here for the traditional look this year."

Olivia had also installed a table rod which stood over the dining area, and had been decorated with gorgeous red flowers and twinkling fairy lights.

Fans rushed to compliment the creative table arrangement, prompting her to explain how she curated the incredible instalment.

She wrote: "The over table rod is a GAME CHANGER! I LOVE IT! I saw it on Pinterest & instantly needed one for this years table, it’s currently not in the middle because I need to use the end seats for a girls Xmas dinner soon!

"For actual Christmas Day though I’ll centre it. I believe it is from @maisonsdumondeuk – I get so much stuff from there! One of my faves."

The pair's Christmas tree stands at the end of the dining table, and could be seen in the footage lit up as it perfectly matched the rest of the decor.

Olivia and Alex first began showcasing their incredible festive home transformation in November, when they had the exterior of their mansion covered in lavish wreaths and ivy tinsel by professional decorators, Decor Inc.

Once the outside had been revamped, the couple had their hallway decked out in matching garlands, and a huge Christmas tree installed at the entrance.

Their £1million home features a grand staircase upon entering, which has been wrapped in a series of sparkling baubles, ornaments and lights ready for the festive period.

"Wanted to show you guys the outside first it’s so twinkly and beautiful. So classic I’m obsessed!”, the Bowens wrote alongside a snap of their gorgeous home.
