The Scottish beauty told OK! Online: “We have definitely learned all the good and bad parts of each other! It is one way of getting to know each other when you are just literally locked in!”

She revealed how moving in together would have been “on the cards” anyway, despite the pandemic, and added: “It has taught us the foundations of a relationship. Obviously, it was really, really accelerated from being in Love Island.

“He is like my best friend and even minutes that are boring we can still have a laugh together.”

The gorgeous pair met on the first ever winter edition of Love Island in 2020 where they coupled up in South Africa.

And the reality couple celebrated their one-year anniversary in February by sharing a walk together before making a “home-cooked meal” and enjoying cocktails in their apartment.

West Lothian-born Paige and Finn, 21, from Milton Keynes, moved into the sleek three-bedroom Manchester pad after four months together.

And the decision to re-locate to Manchester in particular was “very off the cuff”, according to Paige.

“We had a couple of nights out in Manchester and we were just like: “Let’s move there,” she said.

The Movin’ Too Fast singer described how she has a “good vibe” from the northern city and said she cannot wait to welcome friends and family to experience their new life in Manchester.

And Paige revealed how the pair quickly became accustomed to living together from their time in the villa and cheekily described Finley as a “typical guy”.

Laughing about Finley’s bad habits, Paige said: “How long have we got?”

“Finley is just like a typical guy – he has never left home before so he is a typical mummy’s boy.

“It has been a shock to the system I think with him leaving home – “What do you mean I have to wash clothes, I thought this was done for me?”

She added: “He is getting much better with the household chores so I can’t complain too much.”

And Paige revealed that she has been keeping busy in lockdown with “long baths and song-writing” and hinted on Instagram that she is back in the studio working on new material.

Paige said she has been recording a “feature track” with a “summer vibe”, adding: “I am counting my blessings every day that we can release music.

“Lockdown has given me the time to be able to sit and write and reflect on everything that has happened in the past year. It has been good to get my thoughts on paper.”

The couple are also considering buying a house in the Manchester area after Paige said she would love a puppy but is restricted with renting and a lack of garden at their apartment

But Paige revealed how she and Finley are in no rush with taking the next steps in their relationship and “are just starting at go” after lockdown lifts.

“We are just excited to have nights out, go on nice holidays and just experience life together because we have never really had normality to say.

“And then I have no doubt after we have had a couple of years of fun, if he is brave enough, he can propose!”

Speaking about her fellow Love Island stars, Paige said she is in contact with Shaughna Phillips “if not everyday” and described the “lovely” news that host Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling are expecting a baby girl.

“We have never really seen anybody since with restrictions so it is just social media and supporting each other from the side-lines but it is such lovely news for Laura and Iain.”
