John Cannan, a Cake Shop Manager at Morrisons, said: “We’ve created a special gingerbread biscuit to pay tribute to the royal couple, as they celebrate the Prince’s first Father’s Day.

“We hope that dads across the country enjoy eating our gingerbread biscuits which are a popular product of our Cake Shop counters.”

The “Gingerbread Prince” will cost £1 and is available in all Morrisons 494 stores at the bakery counter from today until stocks last.

Meanwhile, Morrisons announced changes to stores and it’s good news for the future.

The supermarket giant is introducing a “We’ll Weigh What You Need” service at its fresh food counters.

This service aims to reduce the amount of food thrown away in customers’ homes.

Its fresh food counters means that customers shopping at Morrisons can purchase the exact amounts of food they need.
