We've already found numerous wrapping hacks for all different products, even the wine bottle, but now we've found a new way to minimise backache during the festive period.

Nicola Lewis, the woman behind popular account The Girl Can Organise, shared the new hack online having first saw it on Gogglebox.

She shared a snap of herself sitting comfortably on the sofa with her ironing board set up in front of her, making for the perfect wrapping table.

Nicola's followers were all impressed by the savvy hack, especially when they realised she was watching a festive film at the same time!

Nicola captioned the helpful post: "Where do you wrap your gifts? The table, on the bed or maybe the floor??? Here’s a fab hack that will save your back and sanity…

"Grab your ironing board, place it near the sofa, surround yourself with your gift wrap essentials, pour yourself a drink, sit down and commence wrapping…

"That’s it’s! No more stretching or getting back ache, the only stretching you’ll need to worry about is reaching for that drink.

"Also, here’s a handy hack for keeping gift wrap rolls tidy….simply cut in the middle of a toilet paper roll and place it around the paper. This will prevent your paper from unravelling all over the place and keep it neat and tidy."

Instagram users flocked to praise the wrapping tip, with one person writing: "#lifechanging. I am definitely doing that this year! Xx"

Another asked: "Why is it better than the dining table? Confused!", to which Nicola responded: "More space, room to move and spread around you whilst watching or listening to tv or radio comfortably!"

The user was quickly persuaded to adopt the technique, and others simply responded: "I love it!"

Another savvy mum pointed out that the ironing board is perfect as you can adjust the height accordingly too!
