DEAR DEIDRE: OUR sex life suddenly ended when my wife started university eight years ago.
She had always wanted to study further and I was happy for her when she got a place as a mature student.
She is 39 now and I am 41. We have a 15-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter.
Our bedroom life has never recovered. At first I put it down to the stress of doing her course and bringing up two kids but, after graduation, nothing changed.
I’ve brought the subject up but it makes no difference. I love my wife but I feel unloved and rejected.
DEIDRE SAYS: Our libido can run down the less sex we have. It can take a conscious effort to rekindle after a drought but your feelings are understandable.
Tell your wife how unloved and rejected you feel because of her lack of interest in sex.
Ask her to try the suggestions in my leaflet Reviving A Woman’s Sex Drive to get her mojo back.
