An OnlyFans star revealed her dad hasn’t spoken to her since he found out about her saucy career.
Mum-of-four Sinead Connell admitted working in the sex industry has its highs and lows.
On one hand, she’s able to earn a fortune to support her family.
The 41-year-old, who used to work as a bodybuilder, makes up to £140,000 a month from the adults only subscription site.
According to the Irish Mirror, she said: “I had heard of OnlyFans over the years. I had always had an interest in doing something like this.
“I didn’t think it would kick off so well. I didn’t have any idea what it was going to be like. I didn’t think it was going to become my whole life.”
Sinead, from Ireland, added: “I didn’t think I would be getting such a big income from it.”
The OnlyFans star also feels “empowered” by the venture and says it’s given her more “self-respect”.
But on the other hand, the fitness fan has had to face judgement from her loved ones.
She explained: “I did expect to get the hate I got from it.
“I’m not going to say I didn’t, but I didn’t expect a lot of people in my life to let me down because I chose to join the sex industry.”
She continued: “I haven’t spoken to my dad since last November, which is sad. He’s over 80 so that’s an unfortunate sad thing.
“That’s a rift that I don’t think will ever be healed because I’m sure it’s very hard for him to realise that his daughter is doing porn.
“I told my father originally when I started doing it.
“Because when I did the bodybuilding, I had a lot of pictures up on my Instagram anyway of me being in my underwear, it was quite different type of body checking but I would’ve done quite a lot of photoshoots, I said to him, it’s kind of the same but I’m selling the pictures this time and I might have my bra off.
“I would do video calls with guys and my dad was kind of saying ‘that’s a bit sick now and I don’t really think that’s good, you’re taking advantage of people’.
“You know, this kind of thing. That was fine.”
Sinead added: “But then somebody else in the family told him more so what it was and that I was basically doing amateur porn and I didn’t even speak to him since then, I was never really in a conversation about it.
“I just haven’t seen him.”
Sinead spoke ahead of her appearance on Virgin Media’s new documentary, OnlyFans: Ireland’s X Rated, which looks at creators making megabucks on the site.
The show airs on Virgin Media One on September 6.
