Will Smith is ready to lose his pandemic weight.
The “Bad Boys for Life” star — who on Monday said he’s “in the worst shape” of his life — is planning to get back in shape by joining a new fitness program.
“This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry,” the actor captioned an Instagram video posted Tuesday of him wearing only boxer briefs set to Pussycat Dolls’ “Don’t Cha.”
“I love this body, but I wanna FEEL better. No more midnight muffins…this is it! Imma get in the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!!!!!”
Smith, 59, concluded by sharing that he is teaming up with YouTube to “get my health & wellness back on track” and document his fitness journey.
Music star Diplo joked in the comments, “This is staged.. Your gonna have abs in like 3 days.”
Actor John Boyega added a similar comment writing, “If you don’t get your I am legend on! About to be ripped in 3 days!”
Meanwhile, bodybuilder Kai Greene appeared a bit more supportive of Smith’s goals.
“Not bad Not bad 👏🏽 a great base frame to work off of ! The creator holds the vision and the idea in a matter of bringing it to life! Your thoughts become those very things,” he said.
Smith’s post on Monday, in which he revealed his heavier bod, garnered a lot of attention, receiving more than 6 million likes.
Many applauded the “Pursuit of Happiness” actor for his honesty, including YouTuber Casey Neistat who wrote, “You’re a real one for this.”
