Ryanair launches more winter flights to Spain and Italy – with flash sale from £19.99

RYANAIR has launched flights to 11 new destinations later this year, in time for Brits wanting some winter sun on their next holiday.

The low cost airline has increased their schedule to more than 2,000 flights per week in the winter 2021/22 season this year.

Adding to the 400 destinations are hotspots across Spain, Italy and Hungary.

The flights will operate from Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, London Gatwick and London Luton.

The following new flights are:

  • Birmingham – Turin
  • Birmingham – Vilnius
  • Birmingham – Milan
  • Birmingham – Bucharest
  • Bournemouth – Budapest
  • Bournemouth – Wroclaw
  • Bristol- Madrid

Ryanair has also launched a seat sale from £19.99, which can be used on all flights in the winter sale and up to March 2022.

The sale is running until August 19, so families which are quick can get a winter holiday booked in.

The current travel rules allow all Brits to visit green countries and avoid quarantine when returning to the UK, with destinations including Croatia, Malta and Madeira currently on it.

Fully vaccinated Brits can also visit amber list countries without having to quarantine back in the UK – this includes hotspots such as Spain.

Ryanair’s Director of Commercial, Jason McGuinness, said: "As Europe’s largest airline, we are delighted to announce 11 new Winter routes from UK cities Bournemouth, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff and London for those who are looking to enjoy a sunny winter getaway or take in the sights on a city break to the likes of Barcelona, Budapest, Dublin or Milan."

Ryanair passengers can also change their flights without paying a change fee until the end of December, although travellers will have to pay the fare difference.
